The former Meghan Markle may have gone on to become the Duchess of Sussex, but what happened to her "Suits" character?

In case you were wondering what Duchess Meghan's Rachel Zane has been up to since her last appearance on the USA Network's legal drama, her character's husband gave an update.

Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross on the series through Season 7, returned to the show during Wednesday's episode and reunited with his mentor Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht.

Of course, while back in his old stomping grounds, the question of how his TV wife is doing came up, and Adams' Ross answered with a cheeky one-liner that referenced his former co-star's new royal life. 

Mike said Rachel was "good."

"In fact, if I told you how good, you probably wouldn't believe me," he quipped.

The show's Twitter account kept up the gag about Duchess Meghan's happily-ever-afters, posting a GIF of the line from the episode.

"Turns out Rachel is doing REALLY well," the "Suits" account tweeted with a winking emoji.

Before her life took a royal turn, Duchess Meghan starred on "Suits" for seven seasons, departing along with Adams when their characters got married.

Meghan married Prince Harry on May 19, 2018. Her "Suits" cast mates attended the wedding including Macht, Adams and his wife, actress Troian Bellisario, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman.

Mike didn't mention if life in Seattle with Rachel also happens to involve a crown.

8月8日と翌9日に東京・きゅりあん小ホール、昨日8月16日に大阪・YES THEATERで準々決勝が行われた結果、コロコロチキチキペッパーズ、ザ・マミィ、ジェラードン、ロングコートダディ、コウテイ、蛙亭、相席スタート、かが屋、空気階段、ジャルジャル、チョコレートプラネット、やさしいズら34組が準決勝へ。彼らは9月5日（木）と翌6日（金）の2日間、東京・赤坂BLITZで2本のネタを披露し、決勝の舞台を目指す。決勝戦は今秋TBS系列にて生放送される予定。

　愛知県で開催中の国際芸術祭「あいちトリエンナーレ２０１９」の企画展「表現の不自由展・その後」が中止になった問題で、元慰安婦を象徴する少女像について、芸術祭の芸術監督を務めるジャーナリストの津田大介氏が事前に懸念を示して展示を見合わせようとしたものの、企画展の実行委員会から拒絶されていたことが１６日、分かった。

　津田氏がツイッターで一連の経緯を明らかにした。問題があると認識しながら展示に踏み切った形で、さらに議論を呼びそうだ。

　１５日夜に更新したツイッターによると、津田氏は昨年１２月、過去に同趣旨の「表現の不自由展」を開催した実行委員会に、芸術祭への出品を依頼。ただ、少女像については今年２～３月の打ち合わせで、「様々な懸念が予想されるため、実現が難しくなるだろう」と伝えた。しかし実行委から「少女像を展示できないのならば、その状況こそが検閲」と断固拒否されたという。

　また、昭和天皇の肖像を燃やすような映像についても、作者に「新作の出展はコンセプトになじまない」と伝えたが、受け入れられなかった。

　津田氏は「この２作品を展示作品に加えた場合、強い抗議運動に晒（さら）されるリスクがあることは理解していた」とした上で、「現場のリスクを減らす判断をするか、"作家（不自由展実行委）"の表現の自由を守るかという難しい２択を迫られた」と説明。実行委と議論する過程で後者を選んだと明かした。混乱を招いたことについては「責任を重く感じている」と謝罪。芸術監督の辞任は否定した。
