| 【レポート】ブラッド・ピット六本木に降臨、通行人に手を振り悲鳴 ─ 『アド・アストラ』ジャパンプレミア - THE RIVER Posted: 13 Sep 2019 04:55 AM PDT 【レポート】ブラッド・ピット六本木に降臨、通行人に手を振り悲鳴 ─ 『アド・アストラ』ジャパンプレミア - THE RIVER ブラッド・ピットが初の宇宙飛行士役に挑み、カンヌ国際映画祭でも大絶賛の声が相次いだ映画『アド・アストラ』が、2019年9月20日より日米同時公開となる。このため、本作で主演と製作を兼任したブラッド・ピットが来日。ジャパンプレミアでファンの前に登場した。（記事最後に写真ギャラリー60枚あり。）  ジャパンプレミア会場に選ばれたのはTOHOシネマズ 六本木ヒルズ。屋外に特設されたブルーカーペットにブラッド・ピットが予定時刻より遅れながら颯爽と現れると、六本木ヒルズ内の通行人からも悲鳴があがる。その声を聞いたピットは自ら屈んで通行人らにもしっかりと手を振った。六本木ヒルズの夕空がすさまじい悲鳴に包まれたことは言うまでもない。  舞台挨拶に移動したピットは、「特別な映画なので、こういった大スクリーンで観た方が良いんですよ」と劇場での鑑賞を勧める。「真面目な話、今日は皆さん時間を割いて本作を観に来て頂いて、本当にありがとうございます。感謝します。」  この前日に開催された記者会見では、日本観光のために一足早く来日する予定だったものの、台風の影響でフライトがキャンセルになっていたと明かしたピットだが、舞台上でも日本滞在について聞かれ「いつも時間が足りないんです」と言う。「毎回、"次回こそ！"って言ってるんです。だから、次回は是非とも。仕事抜きでね！」 『アド・アストラ』でキャリア初の宇宙飛行士役を演じたことについては、「SFのジャンルはもともと大好きでした。このユニークな作品でSFに貢献できたと自負しています。他とは違うこの作品を誇りに思います」と胸を張った。  『アド・アストラ』でピットが演じる主人公の宇宙飛行士ロイは、かつて太陽系の彼方に消えた父を探して宇宙に旅立つという設定。映画の「本当のテーマ」について聞かれると、「いくつかあると思います」と解説。「親子関係や自分自身を本当に理解する、ということです。大規模な冒険映画でアクションもあるわけですが、究極的には自分を探す、ということですね。」 最後に世界中のファンに向けてメッセージを、と求められたピットは、「僕からのメッセージはひとつ」と笑いながら、"Just be nice to each other（人にやさしく）"との言葉を贈った。ピットは"Enjoy! The track is featured in the forthcoming Charlie's Angels reboot. The film's soundtrack, which Grande co-executive produced, will be released on November 1st via Republic. In the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip, the trio is seen sultrily strutting around clad in all-black with black angels wings signifying they're not the archetypical angel versions. Grande leads with the defiant hook, "Boy, don't call me angel/You ain't got me right," she croons over the song's pulsating rhythms. "Don't call me angel/You can't pay the price." Cyrus follows in a boxing ring where a guy is tied up. "I make my own money/And I write my own checks," she sings. "So say my name with a little respect." Lana Del Rey, in contrast, delivers a whispery refrain. "You can't get me off your mind/I appreciate the way you want me, I ain't gonna lie," she sings. "I drop it low, I back it up/I know you wanna think you're mine." Charlie's Angels stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as the titular angels while Elisabeth Banks takes on the role of Bosley. Banks also wrote and directed the reboot. The film will hit theaters on November 15th. The track was originally previewed in one of the first trailers for the action film. This is the first time all three women have collaborated with each other on an original song. Grande and Cyrus have performed a cover of Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" a couple times over the years, including during the 2017 benefit concert One Love Manchester. Cast Member, Used Racial Slur in Podcast - The New York Times  A comedian named on Thursday as one of the newest "Saturday Night Live" cast members made racist remarks mocking Chinese people and used a racial slur in a podcast episode last year. The comments were uncovered by a comedy journalist several hours after NBC announced that the comedian, Shane Gillis, 31, would be joining the cast along with two other performers, one of them the show's first Chinese-American player. In the episode, which was also recorded on video and uploaded to YouTube a year ago, Gillis, a stand-up comedian in New York, and his podcast partner, Matt McCusker, mimicked caricatures of Chinese accents. During their conversation, which was often vulgar, Gillis also called it a "hassle" to try to speak with a waiter in a Chinese restaurant and made other offensive remarks, including a slur referring to Chinese people. On Thursday night, Gillis said on Twitter that he was a "comedian who pushes boundaries" and suggested that the jokes at issue were simply risks that did not work out. "I'm happy to apologize to anyone who's actually offended by anything I've said," he wrote. A NBC spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment on Thursday. The video was deleted from YouTube on Thursday, but not before the journalist Seth Simons found it and posted excerpts on his Twitter feed. Gillis's conversation with McCusker began with a discussion about Chinatown, the neighborhoods in New York and elsewhere where communities of Chinese immigrants have traditionally gathered. "I'd go down there like, 'What are you guys doing here?'" Gillis continued. "Get these ducks out of that window." Later, Gillis mocked a Chinese boy who he described as practicing his English. "We had to move tables, it was so annoying," Gillis said. "That's more annoying than any other minority playing music at a restaurant loud on their phone." "An Asian trying to learn English bothers me more than someone listening to like Lil Uzi Vert while I'm trying to eat," he continued, referring to the rapper. He followed it up with an acknowledgment of sorts. "Nice racism," he said. Gillis was named to the "Saturday Night Live" cast for the 45th season, which begins Sept. 28, along with Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang, who became a writer for the show last year and is its first Chinese-American cast member.
