| Mbappe to Real Madrid was almost done before coronavirus crisis – Rothen - Goal Posted: 12 Apr 2020 12:16 AM PDT  Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid is "just a question of time" according to Jerome Rothen, who claims the Paris Saint-Germain star was set for the La Liga giants prior to the coronavirus pandemic. Mbappe continues to be linked with a blockbuster move to Madrid, where head coach Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of his admiration for the France international forward. The 21-year-old, who swapped Monaco for French rivals PSG on an initial loan deal in 2017, is contracted until 2022 but Mbappe is no closer to committing his future to the Ligue 1 champions despite the club's best efforts. Former PSG midfielder Rothen said Mbappe almost signed for Madrid before the Covid-19 crisis – which has claimed more than 108,700 lives globally – wreaked havoc on sport and society. "I know from club sources that a deal to take Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid was almost done," Rothen, who won two titles during his six years at PSG, told Radio Montecarlo. "But with what has been happening, I'm sure that Mbappe's arrival at Real Madrid will be postponed." Rothen added: "There is no way that Mbappe will extend his contract with PSG. "They will have an agreement between them in place because PSG agreed to let him go this summer. In my opinion, it's just a question of time." Prior to coronavirus halting Ligue 1 and sport across the world, Mbappe had scored 18 league goals and 30 across all competitions for PSG in 2019-20. Mbappe faced Real Madrid in the Champions League group stages this season with Zidane declaring his love for the French attacker last year. | Krakatoa Puts on Scary Light Show with Biggest Eruption Since 2018 - TMZ Posted: 11 Apr 2020 11:34 PM PDT  Krakatoa is at it again, a massive overnight eruption -- the largest since 2018's deadly blast -- threw ash miles into the air, and put on a wicked light show. The famed and feared volcano blew its top Friday night, and it was loud enough that people 100 miles away in Jakarta, Indonesia reported hearing it. A webcam planted on the slope of the volcano captured images of the lava and ash shooting into the sky. Researchers say the eruption sent ash 9 miles up, and while the video looks pretty cool ... locals had to be pretty terrified. Krakatoa -- it's actually Little Krakatao, but we don't wanna give it a complex -- last erupted this powerfully in December 2018.  DECEMBER 2018That event triggered a tsunami that killed more than 400 people on a neighboring island. Friday night's eruption was much less powerful, and there are no casualties reported. Plain old history buffs know the OG Krakatoa erupted in 1883, killing more than 36,000 people ... perhaps the most deadly ever. While 'SpongeBob' history buffs know it from a 2002 episode. | Cars line up to receive groceries at mobile market - WSIL TV Posted: 11 Apr 2020 10:41 PM PDT  ENERGY (WSIL) -- Mobile markets are seeing seeing record numbers throughout southern Illinois, as more and more people are in need of help during this difficult time. One of those mobile markets is being put on by Southern Hospitality Ministries at the United Methodist Church on West Read and McNeil Streets. Cars began lining up long before the event began at 7 a.m. to make sure they would receive some of the groceries being offered as around 300 families were expected. Robin Fox, Director of Southern Hospitality Ministries says, the Coronavirus is impacting families in different ways but they all need food. "Everybody is just really in need right now," she explains. With so many people out of work, unemployment hasn't started for a lot of people, the stimulus hasn't come in and there's just a lot of various reasons." Those who attended were given eggs and lots of fresh produce like bananas, apples, mangoes, celery and cabbage. Fox says the group relies on the generosity of the St. Louis Area Food Bank, and their hard-working volunteers to make these markets possible. "We've got Cambria Fire and Rescue, we've got managers from Hardy's in Murphysboro," she explains. "We've got managers from Taco Bell in Herrin. We've got a lot of waitresses and bartenders out of work." Southern Hospitality Ministries kept with social distancing guidelines by loading boxes of food into vehicle trunks, so there was no need for recipients to step outside their cars. The group plans to hold mobile markets each Saturday morning at the church as the pandemic continues. | Posted: 11 Apr 2020 10:18 PM PDT Arsenal do not have "the right balance of players" to play Mikel Arteta's favoured system, says Kevin Campbell, with additions required in order to make the Gunners similar to Manchester City. Pep Guardiola's former assistant was expected to bring important lessons taken from the ex-Barcelona boss with him to Emirates Stadium. Having previously been Arsenal captain under the legendary Arsene Wenger, Arteta was also seen as the ideal candidate to bring exciting, ball-playing football back to north London. There are, however, no quick fixes to be found when it comes to a heavyweight outfit that has rather lost its way over recent years. Arteta has offered cause for optimism through the opening months of his reign, but the Gunners remain a work in progress. Campbell admits as much, with the next transfer window considered to be crucial for an ambitious side heading in a new direction. The former Arsenal striker told The Chronicles of a Gooner podcast: "Unfortunately, Mikel Arteta this season is our third manager, so it may take a bit longer because now I think we've got the right manager, but now we're going to have to get the right players in. "I don't think we've got the right balance of players in our system to play the way Mikel Arteta wants."
 Arteta took the reins after fellow Spaniard Unai Emery was relieved of his duties and Freddie Ljungberg was asked to bridge the gap between permanent appointments in a caretaker post. Just two defeats have been suffered by the Gunners under their new boss, but they are not yet fully up to speed. Campbell expects that process to take some time and hopes a demanding fan base will appreciate that Arsenal are not looking to become a team that blows opponents out of the water. He added on Arteta's efforts to bring a touch of City to north London: "Everybody thinks Pep Guardiola's system is attack, attack, attack. "Pep Guardiola's system is work hard, graft and press the ball. That is what his system is. "Once you can do that you can play all the pretty football you like because you wear teams out. "You have to, one: be extra fit, two: you have to have the buy-in from the players in order to do it, and three - and this is probably the most important thing - you have to have the right players to play it." | US surpasses Italy to reach grim record in Covid-19 deaths - FRANCE 24 English Posted: 11 Apr 2020 08:34 PM PDT  The United States surpassed Italy on Saturday as the country with the highest reported coronavirus death toll, recording more than 20,000 deaths since the outbreak began. Advertising The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 20,071 people in the US, which also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 519,453, according to a tally kept by Johns Hopkins University. Italy, the hardest-hit country in Europe with a population a fifth the size of the US, stood at 19,468 declared virus fatalities on Saturday evening, according to national authorities. The US reached the grim milestone as President Donald Trump mulled over when the country, which has registered more than half a million infections, might begin to see a return to normality. The United States has seen its highest death tolls to date in the epidemic with roughly 2,000 deaths a day reported for the last four days in a row, a plurality of them in and around New York City. Even that is viewed as an understatement, as New York is still figuring out how best to include a surge in deaths at home in its official statistics. Public health experts have warned that the US death toll could reach 200,000 over the summer if unprecedented stay-at-home orders that have closed businesses and kept most Americans indoors are lifted after 30 days. Most of the present restrictions on public life, however, including school closures and emergency orders keeping non-essential workers largely confined to their homes, flow from powers vested in state governors, not the president. Nonetheless, Trump has said he wants life to return to normal as soon as possible and that the measures aimed at curbing the spread of the Covid-19 disease caused by the novel coronavirus carry their own economic and public-health cost. In New York on Saturday, the state's governor and New York City's mayor engaged in a fresh squabble over their efforts to combat the virus in what is now the global epicenter, in this instance over how long schools might stay closed. The state was sometimes slower to impose social-distancing restrictions than other jurisdictions, notably in California, while New York's two most powerful officials, both Democrats, sometimes disagreed with each other over matters of jurisdiction and the best terminology to use for certain measures. They have not appeared in public together since March 2. On Saturday morning, Mayor Bill de Blasio declared that New York City's public schools would no longer reopen on April 20 but stay closed for the rest of the academic year, saying it was "the right thing to do." New York City schools to remain closed through June: mayor New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, however, later used his widely watched daily news conference to dismiss the mayor's edict as merely an "opinion," and say he would make his own decision on school closures. The current federal guidelines advocating for widespread social-distancing measures run until April 30. Trump, who is seeking re-election in November, will then have to decide whether to extend them or start encouraging people to go back to work and a more normal way of life. Trump said he would unveil a new advisory council, possibly on Tuesday, that will include some state governors and will focus on the process of reopening the economy. The number of Americans seeking unemployment benefits in the last three weeks surpassed 16 million, as weekly new claims topped 6 million for the second straight time last week. The government has said the economy purged 701,000 jobs in March. That was the most job losses since the Great Recession and ended the longest employment boom in US history that started in late 2010. Empty churches With more than 90% of the country under stay-at-home orders, the Christian calendar's holiest weekend has mostly featured services livestreamed or broadcast to worshippers watching from home. With many churches already short of funds, untouched collection plates at what is usually a busy time of the year are adding to the pressure on their finances. A handful of holdout US churches planned to go ahead with in-person services on Easter Sunday, saying their rights to worship outweighed public health warnings. But there were glimmers of hope this week. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government's top infectious disease expert, and other health officials pointed to declining rates of coronavirus hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care units – particularly in New York state – as signs that social distancing measures are paying off. The stay-at-home orders imposed in recent weeks across 42 states have taken a huge toll on American commerce and raised questions about how long business closures and travel restrictions can be sustained. The Trump administration renewed talk of quickly reopening the economy after an influential university research model this week lowered its US mortality forecasts to 60,000 deaths by Aug. 4, down from at least 100,000, assuming social-distancing measures remain in place. However, new US government data show infections will surge over the summer if stay-at-home orders are lifted after 30 days, according to projections first reported by the New York Times and confirmed by a Department of Homeland Security official. A new outbreak was reported on Friday in San Francisco, where 68 residents and two staff members at a homeless shelter tested positive, marking one of the largest known clusters of infections yet in such a facility anywhere in the country. And 36 employees became infected with Covid-19 at a beef production plant in Greeley, Colorado, according to meatpacking company JBS USA. France star Pogba has endured an injury-hit 2019-20 season, while rumours persist that a switch to Real Madrid could be on the cards. In his absence, United swooped for Fernandes during the January transfer window and the Portugal international instantly endeared himself to the Old Trafford faithful. This has led many to suggest Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have already moved on from Pogba's patchy second stint with the club, but on-loan striker Ighalo is keen for them to take a team already on an 11-match unbeaten run to new heights. "He is working hard to get back to fitness and imagine when we have Pogba and Bruno in the midfield, then you will see a different team – [Marcus] Rashford coming back also," Ighalo said in an interview with Juliet Bawuah that the journalist streamed live via her Twitter page. "Manchester United is going to be great again, winning games week in, week out. He's a great player and it's going to be a privilege to play with him." Fernandes has two goals and three assists in five Premier League appearances, bringing his prolific Sporting CP form to England's top flight with ease. "But even me as a person cannot start talking about a contract when you don't know when you're going to resume. Messonier was merely voicing the consensus among the administration's public health experts, but she jumped the gun -- doing so without getting official buy-in. The official also confirmed that a February 23 email from a researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology sharing a report of potential asymptomatic spread of the disease caused alarm among several top officials, the official said. Norwegian defender Ruben Gabrielsen, now at Toulouse, says the young Haaland joined the club as a "small guy", before spending some time out injured and coming back "big as f*ck". Haaland scored 20 goals in 50 games for Molde, before moving on to Red Bull Salzburg and eventually Dortmund in January this year. "With Haaland, when he played in Norway with me, he didn't score for a week in training before a game," Gabrielsen told Get French Football News. "We were laughing at him! "And when I heard he was starting the game I was thinking, 'No way… how can we play with this guy!?' And after 50 minutes he'd scored four goals. "And after that, things just skyrocketed. But I think he learned an important lesson that, when tough times come, just work harder. And they [the young players] have a chance to learn that now." ■最初の大きな整形は、顔の脂肪吸引「顔がパンパンのまま、長野まで電車で帰りました」 ――整形したいと思うようになったのは、いつ頃からですか？ 【望月める】中3の時に、当時好きだった男の子がいじめっ子とつき合い始めたんです。その子がかわいくて、"顔がかわいかったら、性格が悪くても人生得するんだな"って思ったのが、最初のきっかけですね。 ――中学生で…！ では実際に初めて整形したのはいつですか？ 【望月める】高３の時です。ちょうどその時期にアイドルを始めたんですけど、同じ事務所の同い年の子が整形している話を聞いて。それなら、私にもできるかなと思って、涙袋にヒアルロン酸を入れました。涙袋があったら私もかわいくなれるかなと思ったんです。地下アイドルの子はみんな涙袋がすごくて（笑）。 ――裏事情が…（笑）。当時、費用はいくらぐらいかかったのでしょうか？ 【望月める】3万円ぐらいだったと思います。当時はバイトしていなかったけど、お年玉でできる金額だったので。自分で安いところを探して銀座のクリニックへ行って、その日に施術しました。そんなに量は入れなかったんですけど、かわいくなった気がしてうれしかったのを覚えています。 ――その後は、どんな整形を？ 【望月める】注射系を何度かやりました。その後一番大きかったのは、顔の脂肪吸引ですね。全身麻酔で、めちゃめちゃ大変でした。手術が終わった後は顔がパンパンに腫れて。当時長野に住んでいたんですけど、パンパンの状態で圧迫バンドを巻いたまま東京から電車で帰りました。口が開かないからしゃべれないし、物も食べれなくて。よだれも垂れっぱなしの状態です。痛すぎて夜も眠れないので、かなりつらかったですね。 ――では今までの整形で一番つらかったのは、その時？ 【望月める】それよりも、頬骨を切った時が一番つらかったです。輪郭を小さくするためにやったんですけど、血がのどに詰まって、息ができなくなって夜中に目が覚めるんです。本当に死ぬかと思いました。だるさもすごいし、しばらくは介護食を食べて過ごす毎日でした。 ■おばあちゃんは整形に猛反対「宇宙人みたいな顔になったって言われて、悲しかった（笑）」 ――涙袋、脂肪吸引、頬骨以外にも、整形している部分はありますか？ 【望月める】主に顔ですかね。目尻を切ったり、唇を薄くしたり。おでこは脂肪が入っていて、生え際も1.5cm縮めました。鼻もやりましたし、二の腕と太ももも脂肪吸引をしています。昔と一番違うのは、鼻だと思います。鼻筋にシリコン、鼻先に自分の耳の軟骨とかを入れて、左側だけ小鼻を小さくしています。総額で600万円くらい。 ――600万円！ 施術後の状態や痛みを考えても、やりたい思いの方が強い？ 【望月める】うれしさのほうが勝ってしまうんですよね。痛みやつらさは忘れるし、整形した後の自分の顔を見た時のうれしさのほうが大きいです。でも、お医者さんに「これ以上やったらおかしくなるよ」と止められたらやめるようにしています。 ――ご家族の方の反応はいかがですか？ 【望月める】おばあちゃんは、最初からすごく反対していました。お母さんがいないから、最初に涙袋の整形をする時も相談したんですよね。当時、"ミスiD"のオーディションを受けていたので、「受かりたいから整形したい」って言ったら、「涙袋があったら受かるの？」って聞かれて（笑）。 ――鋭い質問ですね（笑）。今はもう反対されていないんですか？ 【望月める】私が韓国に行き出したあたりから、あきらめたみたいです。頬骨を切った時も、許可を取らなきゃいけないから電話したんですけど、もう韓国まで行っちゃってたから仕方ないって同意してくれました。 ――最近は何か言われましたか？ 【望月める】「宇宙人みたいな顔になった」って言われました（笑）。お正月に帰った時も、「面影がなくなっちゃったね」って言われて、ちょっと悲しかったですね。 ――SNSには多くのフォロワーがいらっしゃいますが、どんな方が多いのでしょうか？ 【望月める】７～８割が女の子ですね。整形している女の子も多いと思います。「めるちゃんに勇気をもらって今日整形してきました」とか、「痛かったけど、めるちゃんもこの痛みを経験したんだと思って頑張りました」ってコメントは、すごくうれしかったですね。 ――ご自身では、支持されている理由はどのあたりにあると思いますか？ 【望月める】あんまり隠さないからかな？ 昔から、隠し事できないんです（笑）。 ――昨年は『ゴッドタン』でもSNSの投稿内容についてかなり赤裸々にお話しされていた印象があります。反響はいかがですか？ 【望月める】『ゴッドタン』の出演が決まった時はうれしかったですし、めちゃくちゃ緊張しました。でも出演をきっかけに知ってくれた方もけっこういて、放送後はSNSのフォロワーが1万人増えました。 ――すごい反響ですね。さらに『ゴッドタン』では整形するための費用についてのお話もあって衝撃的でした。 【望月める】失うものは何もないなと思ったので。元々知られていたこともあったし、最初から隠さずに言ったほうがいいかなと。でも、いまだにすごく叩かれるので、ちょっとだけ後悔もしてます（笑）。 ――実際にはどんなコメントが…？ 【望月める】昔の写真を貼られて、「こんな奴がアイドルをやるなんて」って言われたり。だいぶ慣れましたけど、やっぱり傷つきます。あとは、「整形してるんだからかわいいのは当たり前だ」っていうコメントも多いです。でも、それは違うかなって。整形は魔法じゃないから、パーツ配置とかってあんまり変えられない。限界はあるんですよね。 ――整形以外のかわいくなる努力も必要…SNSではファッションや美容の情報も発信されていますよね。では、整形したことで性格に変化はありましたか？ 【望月める】自分の顔が好きになったし、よく笑うようになったねって言われます。整形に600万円もかけているから、もう自分の顔が愛しいというか。人生でそんなにお金をかけたものは、他にないから。 ――総額600万円はかなりの額ですよね…お金がなくなったことは？ 【望月める】あります、あります（笑）。貯金ができないタイプだから、いつも先に病院を予約して、それから急いで貯めるんですよ。韓国で整形して日本に帰ってきたら、全財産が2万円の時もありました（笑）。 ■個性の強い問題児だらけのアイドルグループ「いい意味でも、悪い意味でも注目されている」 ――4月にはアイドルグループ「モノクローン」として活動をスタートさせますが、どのような経緯で始めることになったのでしょうか？ ――友達の作り方が今の時代ならではですね。7人でいる時はどんな感じなのでしょうか？ ――プロフィール画像になっている、札束を持っている写真も印象的です。 ――お披露目も間もなくですが、意気込みは？ ――今後は、アイドル以外の仕事もやっていきたい？ 2020-04-11 23:40:00Z https://news.google.com/__i/rss/rd/articles/CBMiRmh0dHBzOi8vYXJ0aWNsZS5hdW9uZS5qcC9kZXRhaWwvMS81LzkvMjBfOV9yXzIwMjAwNDEyXzE1ODY2NDg2MjI2NzczOTHSAQA?oc=5  |
