Can you count the number of tigers in this viral optical illusion? Amitabh Bachchan makes a guess - India Today

An optical illusion has intrigued celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Dia Mirza on Twitter as the internet kept itself busy on Thursday in an attempt to figure out the answer. EF Neer, a Twitter user, shared the optical illusion - a graphical image of several tigers in a scenic backdrop - and asked social media to guess the number of big cats in the picture.

Four tigers are what you will see instantly but the riddle is in the picture as several other big cats are camouflaged in the surroundings of the backdrop. "How many tigers can you see in this pic?" is EF Neer's question.

Amitabh Bachchan could spot 11 while Dia Mirza said 16. So did Sophie Choudry. Tiger Shroff's Munna Michael co-star Nidhhi Agerwal said that the answer is 17.

Netizens, meanwhile, are racking their brains over the answer. Some users said that it was 14 whereas others were of the opinion that it could be 16 or 17 as well. Those who made the guess also marked the number of tigers in the picture.

Viral Ariana Grande Doppelgänger Responds to Star's Alleged Shade - Papermag

Ariana Grande is calling out the "degrading" imitations of her on TikTok, and her most famous lookalike has some thoughts.

Last November, TikToker Paige Neimann went viral after her striking similarity to the pop star and impressions of Grande's Victorious character, Cat Valentine, blew the internet away. And though Grande initially responded to Neimann's schtick by saying that her doppelgänger was probably "the sweetest sweet sweetheart forreal," it turns out her addendum about the act being "bizarre" is what really stuck.

On Wednesday night, Grande reportedly took to her Instagram Story to repost a video by writer and comedian Jordan Firstman, in which he talks about the way memes devalue the "something that an artist really poured their soul into, and it like, it just took them years to make."

"What if we took a moment from that, and we kind of like, re-contextualized it—like, does that make sense?" Firstman continued, "And we put a completely arbitrary meaning onto that thing that the artist loves so much? Kind of like, degrading its entire value."

For her part, Grande wholeheartedly agreed, writing, "Omg can this please also double as your impression of the ponytail TikTok girls who think doing that Cat Valentine voice and that wearing winged eyeliner and a sweatshirt is doing a good impersonation of me."

"Cause this really how it feels..." she reportedly wrote. "'Degrading its entire value' I screamed."

And though Grande eventually deleted the Story, that didn't prevent the star's supposed shade from reaching Niemann, who ended up responding via her own Instagram Live. Her take? "I'm used to Ariana shading me," Niemann said. "Kind of why I'm not a fan of her anymore, honestly."

お笑いコンビ「ハリセンボン」の近藤春菜（37）が24日、頭痛と腹痛を訴えて、生放送の日本テレビ系「スッキリ」出演を見合わせた。

発熱やせきなどの症状はないが「万が一を考えてお休みさせていただきます」と電話で説明した。

「気圧の変化とか、寒さ、疲れからよくなる」と、日ごろから頭痛に悩んでいるという。前日夜から症状があり「次の日寝て起きたら大丈夫だろうと思って薬は飲まず休んだんですけれど、朝になっても頭痛が残っているのと昨日の夜からおなかを下していて…」と下痢の症状もあると明かした。

小麦アレルギーもあるとして「ちょっと食べたくなってしまって…朝もそれが残っていた」と話した。

「熱はまったくなくて、息苦しさとかせきとか鼻づまりとかは一切ない。味もしますしにおいも感じますし、おなかもすいている」。新型コロナウイルスの症状とは異なることを重ねて話した。

The Bayern Munich chairman has issued a statement over their signing of goalkeeper Alexander Nubel.

Nubel's arrival from Schalke has put current number one Manuel Neuer's position under question, with his contract set to expire next summer. Neuer himself has previously said he is unhappy after details of his contract negotiations were leaked to the media.

However Rummenigge has now intervened to say Bayern are looking forward to having Neuer and Nubel working together - as well as taking a swipe at negative reactions to their signing of the 23-year-old keeper.

He said: "In recent weeks there have been a lot of reports about Alexander Nubel. On behalf of FC Bayern, I would like to clarify that all decision-makers at Bayern, including head coach Hansi Flick, are very happy that Nubel will be a Bayern player next season.

"He is one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and an important player for the future of our team. We're confident that Manuel Neuer, with his quality and experience, will make an important contribution to Nubel's development.

"In addition, we would like to put on record that FC Bayern does not tolerate derogatory comments from players' agents about other Bayern players."

　お笑いコンビ「ハリセンボン」の近藤春菜（37）が頭痛と腹痛を訴え、24日放送の日本テレビ系「スッキリ」の出演を見合わせた。発熱やせきなどの症状はないといい、近藤は「万が一を考えてお休みさせていただきます」と電話で自身の状況を説明した。

　「気圧の変化とか寒さ、疲れからよくなる」と頭痛に悩んでいるという近藤。前日夜から症状があったといい「次の日寝て起きたら大丈夫だろうと思って薬は飲まず休んだんですけれども、朝になっても頭痛が残っているのと昨日の夜からおなかを下していて…」と経緯を説明した。小麦アレルギーもあるといい、「ちょっと食べたくなってしまって…朝もそれが残っていた」と話した。

　新型コロナウイルスを思わせる症状はないといい、「熱はまったくなくて、息苦しさとかせきとか鼻づまりとかは一切ない。味もしますしにおいも感じますし、おなかもすいている」とスタジオの加藤浩次と水卜麻美アナを安心させた。加藤は「今こういう時期、ちょっとした体調の変化でもこうして休むのは大事だと思う。賢明な判断だと思うよ」と理解を示し、「症状をきょう、あしたあさってと3日間みて、月曜にまた考えようよ。ゆっくり家で見ててよ」と気遣っていた。

There's a lot that we can learn from animals and one such video, which is going viral on Twitter, is proof of the same.

The aforementioned clip was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer Susanta Nanda and it features a large herd of elephants walking in the most disciplined manner.

The clip is from Africa and was shared by the IFS officer with the caption, "It's big...Elephants in huge numbers heading to water sources in a most disciplined manner. From Africa. Estimate the herd size."

The clip shows a large family of elephants walking in a disciplined manner. According to Susanta Nanda, the animals were walking towards a water source. However, the way they were walking in an almost straight line delighted Twitter users and they took to the comments section to praise the gentle giants.

One user wrote, "Something to learn." Few others left comments like, "Excellent video," and "Big family with discipline." A Twitter user was also reminded of school days after watching the video and they wrote, "When will we humans learn this type of discipline. This reminded me of school days, walking in a single line."

President Donald Trump on Thursday touted new research from his Department of Homeland Security suggesting sunlight, heat and humidity could kill the coronavirus, even though his top health officials have not embraced the findings or done any relevant studies on sunlight as a treatment.

Trump, who has previously floated the possibility that the virus could be seasonal and repeatedly embraced the promise of unproven drugs from the White House podium, called the research "pretty powerful" and suggested light could be used as a treatment.

"The whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that's pretty powerful," Trump said during a White House press briefing. He raised the possibility of hitting a human body "with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light."

Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus task force coordinator, said she had not seen research to support the theory that heat could kill viruses.

"I mean, certainly, fever is a good thing when you have a fever because it helps your body respond. But I have not seen heat for viruses," she said during the briefing.

Bill Bryan, the acting undersecretary of Science and Technology at DHS, at the evening briefing described the research on how sunlight, heat, and humidity affects the virus on various surfaces and said they were the coronavirus's weak spots. But he said the study hadn't looked at sunlight as a treatment, that the work hadn't been peer-reviewed and that the findings shouldn't take away from other guidance released by the White House and CDC, including social distancing and mitigation.

"It would be irresponsible for us to say that we feel the summer will totally kill the virus," Bryan said. "This is just another tool in our tool belt. Another weapon in the fight that we can add to it and in the summer, we know that summer-like conditions are going to create an environment where the transmission can be decreased and that's an opportunity for us to get ahead."

Trump however mused about ways that light could attack the virus. He said to Bryan, "I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it. And then I said supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you could do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you were going to test that, too. Sounds interesting."

"Then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside, or almost a cleaning?"

Trump, in response to a reporter's question, also said he hadn't backed off from hydroxychloroquine as a treatment. He hasn't spoken of the malaria drug much in the last week or so, and it remains unproven. Some reports have said it can be harmful for some coronavirus patients, particularly if they have certain heart conditions.

Peter Hotez, a leading vaccine and tropical disease expert at Baylor College of Medicine, tweeted, "Information presented at WH Press briefing should not be considered evidence of virus slowing or seasonality. Just look at what's happening now in Ecuador." That's one of several warm-weather countries around the globe with a severe or ongoing outbreak.

YOSHIKIが4月23日、ニコニコチャンネル内『YOSHIKI CHANNEL』でロサンゼルスの自宅から2度目となるセルフ生配信を行った。

前回同様、撮影機材のセッティングから進行まで一人で行うという状況に胃痛を訴えながらも番組はスタート。『YOSHIKI CHANNEL International』の会員も含む全世界の視聴者に向けて、日本語と英語の二ヶ国語で進行していった。

今回の配信の中では、アメブロにてYOSHIKI公式ブログが期間限定で開設されたことが伝えられた。このブログでは、緊急時の英会話レッスンなど、「STAY HOME」の期間を有意義に過ごせるような内容が投稿されていくとのこと。YOSHIKIは、開設当日にも関わらず2万人以上のフォロワーが集まっていることに驚きつつ、第一回目のブログ投稿を行った。

そして、ロサンゼルスではロックダウン開始から1ヶ月が経過し、現在も家から出られない状況が続いているという。そんな中、YOSHIKIは「自分がどこにいるのか、何をすべきかをいつも考えている」と、現在の心境を語った。

エンターテイメント業界に身を置くアーティストとしては「新型コロナの前と後で、世の中は大きく変わると思う。たとえば、9.11のアメリカ同時多発テロが起きた時に世界中のセキュリティが変わった。今回の事と比較するべきではないかもしれないが、近い将来にワクチンが開発されたとしても、以前と同じような生活が送れるだろうか。映画館などの密集した場所で、隣の席の人が咳をしたら"えっ"と思ってしまうのではないだろうか。エンターテイメント業界は、元に戻れない場合のことも想定しておくべきなのかもしれない」という。

しかし「そういったことを想定して僕らはエンターテイナーとしてのポジションを築くべき。僕はそれに対して対策をいくつか打っているので、そういったことでもみなさんの力になれればと思っている。ミュージシャンを支えるためにも、僕は出来る限りのことをしていきたい」とも、前向きな姿勢でエンターテインメント業界へ希望も語った。

また、国立国際医療研究センターへの寄付を始め、さまざまなチャリティー活動を行っていることを公表する意味については、「公表した方がチャリティー先に対しての認識度が高まるから、一部の人から批判をいただくこともあるが公表するべき。仮に僕が1000万円を寄付したとしたら、公表後はその何倍もの金額が集まる。チャリティーというものが普通に生活に馴染んだらいいなと思う」とコメントした。

配信の最後に、本日4月24日午後8時から放送されるTBS系列『中居正広のキンスマスペシャル』の件に話が及ぶと「僕はズタズタな人生を生きてきた。でも前を向いている。僕が息をしている間は皆さんの力になれるように音楽を通じてサポートできれば。僕は皆さんに頂いた人生を生きている。その恩を返せるように頑張りたい」と、涙を浮かべながら感謝と決意の言葉を伝えた。番組ではYOSHIKIが出演した回の再編集版が放送、過去の映像に加えてYOSHIKIからの緊急スペシャルメッセージも放送される。

配信の後半では、日本にいるスタッフから送られてきた激辛のレトルトカレーを食べる場面も。しかしYOSHIKIは「自分は、コンロでお湯を沸かしたこともない。家のキッチンもシェフがいないとハイテク過ぎて使い方もわからない。
自分は海外に住む呉服屋のドラ息子です（笑）」と自虐的なコメントで視聴者の笑いを誘い、ファンに寄り添った。「みんなに少しでも笑ってほしかった」とのことだった。

最後は、次回の配信をHIDEの命日である5月2日に行うと告知。「HIDEとの思い出や、当時のことを振り返ったりして、HIDEの追悼になればいいな」とコメントした。

PSA: A viral text string with an Italian flag and Sindhi characters will crash your iPhone [U] - 9to5Mac

Every so often, a bug in iOS emerges where a certain string of text will cause your iPhone or iPad to crash. This week, another such string of text is going viral, and a fix from Apple is not yet publicly available.

The string of text, which we aren't going to share here, includes the Italian flag emoji and characters in the Sindhi language. When an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch receives a notification with this text string, things get wonky. Sometimes, your device will crash, while other times it completely stops responding to touch input, and much more.

Details of where this text string originated are somewhat unclear, but the original source seems to have been a Telegram group. It's now going viral on Twitter and other social media platforms, though, so it's worth being aware of. It can spread through theoretically any application, including Twitter, Messages, and more

These sort of bugs have surfaced at various times over the last few years. For instance, back in 2015 the "effective power" text string went viral. Essentially, when you sent the string to another iPhone user, it would cause their Messages app, and sometimes iOS as a whole, to crash.

What's usually most important about these text string bugs, including today's, is that it's almost completely out of the end user's control. What this means is that someone can send the text to you, and immediately crash your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch.

The issue does appear to be fixed in the latest iOS 13.4.5 beta, but that update is not available to everyone just yet. Generally, Apple rolls out a fix for these problems quickly, so we should expect iOS 13.4.2 or even iOS 13.4.5 to be released to everyone sooner rather than later.

One temporary fix, until Apple releases software updates to resolve the problem, is to disable notifications on your devices. Thankfully, if you do receive a message with the text string in it, you can reboot your device and things should be back to normal.

A fix on Reddit claims to protect users with a jailbroken device from the bug:

A new string of characters is making the rounds similar to the Telugu text that would cause iOS to crash. CaptureTheFlag is similar in that it hooks CoreText to replace any occurrences of it with "REMOVED."

'Sensitive' Sane warned against making Bayern move by former team mate Aogo - Goal

Leroy Sane is too "sensitive" to move to Bayern Munich and could struggle with the weight of expectation at Germany's biggest club, according to his former teammate Dennis Aogo.

Manchester City forward Sane has long been linked with a return to Bundesliga and his agent recently confirmed that he has been in transfer talks with Bayern. It would be the first time Sane has played in German league football since he moved from Schalke to Manchester City for £45 million ($56m) in August 2016.

Full-back Aogo was a teammate of Sane's at Schalke between 2013 and his departure for the Premier League, and says that while he admires the Germany international as a player, he does not know whether he is strong enough mentally to handle the pressure that comes with playing for Bayern.

Speaking exclusively to Goal and Spox, Aogo said: "I think it would be awesome for the league [if Sane would return to Bundesliga] because he's a spectacle. However, I do not know whether a move to Bayern would be right for Leroy.

"The package of expectations and transfer fee could have an impact on him. He is a fine guy, but I also got to know him as a sensitive character. He may have evolved in this regard, but this backpack could also become too heavy after such a serious injury."

Sane has been linked with a move to Allianz Arena for well over a year, but any plans he might have had for his future have been delayed due to a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The 24-year-old underwent surgery on the issue after limping off the pitch during City's Community Shield victory over Liverpool back in August, and has not featured for the club since.

The Germany international was approaching a comeback at the start of March after coming through an extensive rehabilitation programme, before the coronavirus outbreak called a temporary halt to the 2019-20 season.

Sane only has one year left to run on his current deal at the Etihad Stadium, and fresh rumours of a potential switch to Bayern have started to swirl ahead of the summer transfer window.

His agent Damir Smoljan said last week: "Together with him, we talk with Manchester City about what the next step could look like. The interest of Bayern Munich is no secret. But other absolute top clubs also contacted us about Leroy.

"Bayern is the only club in Germany that Leroy can imagine as the next step in his career. He sees there the requirements for achieving his big goal of winning the Champions League."

加藤浩次、近藤春菜の"欠席"判断「賢明」「ちょっとした変化でも…」 - マイナビニュース

お笑いコンビ・ハリセンボンの近藤春菜が24日、頭痛などの体調不良により、日本テレビ系情報番組『スッキリ』(毎週月～金8:00～10:25)のスタジオ出演を欠席。電話出演で自身の体調を説明した。極楽とんぼの加藤浩次は、春菜と番組の判断を「賢明な判断」と称賛した。

冒頭、水卜麻美アナウンサーが「今朝、春菜さんが頭痛があるということと、お腹をこわしているということで、発熱や咳などはないんですけど、大事をとって今日出演を見合わせるということになりました」と説明。

電話出演した春菜は「昨日の夜から頭痛がしまして、お腹も下していまして。気圧の変化とか寒さとか疲れからよくなるので、次の日起きたら大丈夫だろうと思って休んだんですけど、今日朝になっても残っていたので。いつもよくあることではあるんですけど、本当に万が一、万万が一ということで」と伝え、「番組の方から休んでいいという判断をいただきまして感謝しています」と話した。

加藤は「今こういう時期だから、ちょっとした体調の変化でもこうやって休むのは大事だと思う。春菜にとってはいつも、お腹痛くなるかもしれない、環境が変わったりすると頭痛くなることがあるわけなんだけど、そういった症状が出ただけでも1回休むっていうのは賢明な判断だと思う」と判断を称賛。

「今こういう状況だからちょっとした変化でも、なんかおかしいんじゃないかと思っている方も多いと思う。そのときにゆっくり身体を休めたりすることが大事だから、春菜ゆっくり休んでよ。病状の変化を今日明日あさってみて、月曜日にまた考えようよ」と春菜にメッセージを送り、「コロナの症状がないとしてもこうやって休める環境は大事」とその重要性を強調した。

In the middle of a pandemic, Donald Trump took time out of fighting coronavirus to plant a tree with his wife. Yes, you read that correctly.

To commemorate Earth Day, the president and the first lady held a press conference on the grounds of the White House to commemorate Earth Day, which is now in its 50th year.

Along with Mike Pence and his wife Karen, Trump, an infamous climate change denier, claimed that planting trees was "something that he loves doing".

If that didn't raise suspicions, Trump then went on to ramble about specimen trees, which he apparently buys lots of.

We're planting 10 beautiful specimen trees. They're specimens. All specimens. People may think that's an exaggeration or that's a Trump term.

Actually, they're sold as specimens. They cost more money but they are better. I buy a lot of 'em.

To top off the event, the Trumps planted a tree, with some help from the Pences with Melania looking a bit unsteady in her high heels when trying to operate a shovel full of soil, which probably isn't appropriate footwear for such a job.

If that wasn't bad enough, Trump started the event by blaming China for the Covid-19 outbreak and claiming that 'we're opening again' despite returning normalcy looking nowhere near likely.

Also, did we mention that they used gold shovels to plant the tree? A really great message to send while thousands of people are dying around the world.

We all know that Trump favours money and wealth over the environment but he really didn't need to present it to us with a metaphor.

悪性リンパ腫と診断され入院中の元フジテレビ笠井信輔アナウンサー（56）が、新型コロナウイルス肺炎で亡くなった岡江久美子さんを悼んだ。

笠井アナは23日、ブログを更新。「自分の知り合いがまたコロナウィルスの犠牲になりました」と岡江さんの訃報に触れ、「入院されたと言う　感染されたと言うその一報がなかったので、突然、コロナウイルスの肺炎で亡くなりましたと知らされても、何が何だか…あまりにも強い衝撃でした」と動揺する様子をつづった。

自身が出演していたフジテレビ系「とくダネ！」とかつて同じ時間帯で放送されていたTBS系「はなまるマーケット」で司会を務めていた岡江さんとの初対面の際には「一応ライバル番組の司会の方なので、ちょっと緊張していたら『あら、笠井さん！こんにちはー』と、とにかく明るくあいさつをしてくださり、その温かさに私もすぐに笑顔になることができたのでした」といい、「お会いする時はいつも笑顔でした」としのんだ。

岡江さんは昨年末に初期の乳がんの手術を受け、1月末から2月半ばまで放射線治療を受けたという。笠井アナも同時期に手術を受け、抗がん剤治療を続けていることから「免疫力は、私も、もちろん低下しています。今は入院中だから良いですが、今後のことを考えると非常に怖い」と心配。「通院で抗がん剤治療を受けている方は、外に出るのがますます怖くなってしまったのではないでしょうか？心配のあまり、抗がん剤治療を先延ばしにしている人もいると思います」と、同じく闘病する人をおもんぱかった。

あらためて不要不急の外出自粛を呼びかけるとともに、「岡江久美子さんは、その死を持って世の中に警鐘を鳴らしてくださいました。ご本人はそんなことを考える間もなく、天に召されていきました　本当にかわいそうです」と笠井アナ。「岡江さん　安らかにお眠りください」と追悼した。

Trump suggests reports on Kim Jong Un falling ill are 'incorrect' - CNBC

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Thursday that reports suggesting North Korea's leader was incapacitated following a cardiovascular surgery were incorrect.

"I think the report was incorrect, let me just put it that way," Trump said when asked at a White House press briefing if he knew of Kim Jong Un's condition. "I hear the report was an incorrect report. I hope it was an incorrect report," he added, without providing further details.

Earlier in the week, Trump said that he had a "very good relationship" with the young leader and wished Kim "good luck."

"I've had a very good relationship with him. I wouldn't -- I can only say this, I wish him well, because if he is in the kind of condition that the reports say, that's a very serious condition, as you know," Trump said on Tuesday during a White House press briefing. "But I wish him well."

Speculation about Kim's health first arose after his absence from the April 15 anniversary birthday celebration of North Korea's founding father Kim Il Sung, the grandfather of Kim Jong Un.

Daily NK, a South Korean newspaper that focuses its coverage on North Korea, said late Monday that Kim on April 12 received a cardiovascular procedure at Hyangsan Hospital. The outlet also reported that Kim was recovering in a villa near the hospital.

NBC News, citing American officials, reported early Tuesday that Kim recently had cardiovascular surgery. Some of those officials said intelligence suggests Kim could be incapacitated.

NBC's report seemed to contradict South Korea's presidential office, which told the outlet that Kim "is currently touring provincial areas with his close aides and we do not detect evidences to support speculation about his ill health."

Kim Jong Un was put forward as the "Great Successor" in 2009 and was made a four-star general the following year. His father, Kim Jong Il, died in 2011 and was believed to be about 70 years old at the time of his death. As planned, Kim took over and was probably around 28 years old.

Under Kim, the reclusive state has conducted its most powerful nuclear test, launched its first-ever intercontinental ballistic missile and threatened to send missiles into the waters near Guam, a U.S. territory. 

North Korea is the only nation known to have tested nuclear weapons this century. Since 2011, Kim has launched more than 100 missiles and conducted four nuclear weapons tests, which is more than his father, Kim Jong Il, and grandfather, Kim Il Sung, launched over a 27-year period.
