South Dakota State Fair open class livestock exhibit entries are now open on a first come, first serve basis.
South Dakota resident beef exhibitors were given preference through last Thursday (July 15). Entries received now will be taken according to time and date of entry until spaces are filled or until the August 1 entry deadline. No late entries will be allowed this year.
The open class static exhibit entry deadline for the State Fair is July 31 (except for Literature which was July 17). Open class static divisions include Horticulture and Agriculture, Women’s Building, Photography and Art and China Painting.
Exhibitors are encouraged to use the online entry process available at sdstatefair.com.
The 2021 South Dakota State Fair runs Thursday September 2 through Monday September 6. Preview night will be Wednesday September 1.
