All five previous winners of the FIA GT World Cup in Macau will return to the grid for the event’s first running under FIA status since 2019.

Confirmed as part of a 21-car entry list released on Wednesday, 2016 winner Laurens Vanthoor joins the previously confirmed Maro Engel, Edoardo Mortara, Augusto Farfus and Raffaele Marciello for the GT3 street race at the Guia circuit.

Five manufacturers will be represented at the event, with Audi, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and BMW joined by a two-car Ferrari 296 GT3 effort from Chinese squad Harmony Racing.

The No. 51 car will be piloted by Ferrari factory driver Daniel Serra, with Chinese racer Weian Chen behind the wheel of the second machine.

As announced on Tuesday, 2019 World Cup winners Mercedes-AMG are represented at Macau by former winners Engel and Marciello, as well as Daniel Juncadella and Macau rookie Jules Gounon.

Porsche joins the grid with a total of seven Type-992 911 GT3 Rs featuring a roster of factory talent. Newly crowned DTM champion Thomas Preining joins Kevin Estre in a two-car HubAuto Racing effort, while 2016 winner Laurens Vanthoor will compete with TORO Racing.

Both Earl Bamber, a former podium finisher at Macau, and new European Le Mans Series GTE champion Alessio Picariello will also take part.

Matteo Cairoli, meanwhile, is set for his Macau debut aboard an Absolute Racing-entered Porsche. The Chinese-flagged squad will run cars from two manufacturers at the event, also entering a two-car Audi effort featuring Edoardo Mortara and works driver Christopher Haase.

BMW on Tuesday confirmed that ROWE Racing and Team WRT will field a car each for 2018 winner Farfus and Sheldon van der Linde.

Congfu Cheng and Adderly Fong will each pilot an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, while Climax Racing is yet to confirm the driver for its second Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
