Kaiden Guhle agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old defenseman, the No. 16 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, will earn $832,500 at the NHL level with a signing bonus of $92,500 per season for an average annual value of $925,000. He'll make $80,000 per season in the American Hockey League.
Guhle scored 40 points (11 goals, 29 assists), including 16 on the power play, in 64 games for Prince Albert of the Western Hockey League last season.
He is the younger brother of Anaheim Ducks defenseman prospect Brendan Guhle.
