PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio
Disorderly conduct, Beresford Avenue: On Oct. 4, a Beresford Avenue resident called police after hearing an intoxicated man knocking on their door.
The Parma Heights resident had been drinking at a neighbor’s home and was so hammered that he went to the wrong house thinking it’s where he lived.
An arriving officer located the confused drunk guy, who was cited for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
Disorderly conduct, Pearl Road: On Oct. 4, police were dispatched to a Pearl Road business regarding a man reportedly causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the establishment.
The police located the Cleveland resident, who then began fighting with officers, as well as attempting to damage a police car.
The man was arrested for assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct.
Weapons charge, Pearl Road: During an Oct. 4 traffic stop, a police officer discovered the Strongsville driver not only had a gun in the vehicle, but he forgot to mention he had a concealed carry permit.
The man was cited for improperly handling firearm in a motor vehicle.
Theft from auto, Lafayette Drive: On Oct. 4, a Lafayette Drive resident called police after discovering someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole several items.
There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
Drug abuse, Pearl Road: On Oct. 5, police observed a vehicle, which had darkly-tinted windows and a license plate that did not have a validation sticker, driving on Pearl Road.
It turned out the Brooklyn driver had a suspended license. During a search of the vehicle, police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The driver was cited for drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
Also, a female passenger was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Because the driver wasn’t impaired, he was released from the scene.
