ENTER OUR RED RIBBON WEEK COLORING CONTEST!

The Gonzales Inquirer is joining with local law enforcement agencies in promoting a life free from the abuse of drugs, alcohol and tobacco during the annual national Red Ribbon Week. The Inquirer is hosting a coloring contest for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade in Gonzales County.

Thanks to Sapces Sublime, Gonzales Healthcare Systems, Preceinct 4 Constable John Moreno, and Texas Farm Bueau Insurance for their support in making the contest possible. Free copies of The Inquirer were requested and devliered to schools in the Gonzales and Nixon-Smiley ISDs. 

To enter, just pick and download one of the coloring subjects from this post (see links to left)! Color the subject in and either turn the completed work into your teacher (if your school is participating), or e-mail a scan or high-resolution (best quality) photo to steve.fountain@gonzalesinquirer.com.

The contest is open to students at public, private or home schools. The student must live within Gonzales County. One entry per student.

Entries are due to The Inquirer office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.

The Inquirer office is located at 622 St. Paul St. in Gonzales.

Winners will be announced in the Thursday, Nov. 12 edition of The Inquirer and posted to our web site,www.gonzalesinquirer.com. Prizes will be awarded to the top finisher at each of the four grade levels.
