Twitter is delighted - India Today Posted: 03 Aug 2020 11:47 PM PDT  Internet is full of adorable videos of animals that often manage to leave us with a wide smile on our faces. One such clip was recently shared by American basketball player Rex Chapman and we cannot stop watching the clip again and again. The video that Rex shared on Twitter featured a baby rhino galloping in a cheery mood. He shared the tweet with the caption, "If you've already seen a baby rhino today just keep on scrolling... (sic)." However, we totally disagree with the caption, we want another look. Take a look at the video:
The footage shows a tiny baby rhino coming out from a shed to a barricaded area. It happily takes a round of the area, stares at something for a few seconds and hops and runs around. Then, it goes back inside the shed. The 11-second-long clip managed to immensely delight the netizens and they took to the comments section to express their joy. After initially falling behind 1-0, the Stars scored three consecutive goals in the second period in the span of just four minutes. Then the Golden Knights scored four consecutive goals to close out the game, but it wasn't without a flair for the dramatic. With 5:13 remaining, Golden Knights forward William Carrier scored arguably the most impressive goal of the NHL restart thus far when he deposited a between-the-legs goal that helped give Vegas a 5-3 win. Defenseman Nate Schmidt fired the puck off the end wall and Carrier was in the right place at the right time to deposit one of the craziest goals you'll ever see past goaltender Ben Bishop. Carrier's tally ended up being the eventual game-winning goal in Vegas' win. The goal was reviewed for potential goaltender interference after Bishop lost his stick in the scrum. However, officials deemed it a goal and Vegas took a late 4-3 lead. The Golden Knights added an empty-net tally courtesy of William Karlsson after the Stars chose to pull Bishop in the final minute. | Posted: 03 Aug 2020 10:42 PM PDT Nine years after he was drafted by the Stars, and two trades later, defenseman Jamie Oleksiak has his first playoff goal in Victory Green. During the Stars' 5-3 round-robin loss to Vegas, Oleksiak snapped his first career postseason goal with Dallas after he was drafted in the first round of the 2011 draft by the organization. It came during the Stars' second-period, three-goal outburst and after he stepped down from the point and into shot that pinged off the post and into the net. Oleksiak scored a playoff goal during his time in Pittsburgh in 2017-18, before he was traded back to the Stars. Oleksiak has had a strong return to play for the Stars so far. After the exhibition against Nashville, Stars interim coach Rick Bowness said he was the team's best defenseman. On Monday against Vegas, when Oleksiak and partner Miro Heiskanen were on the ice together at 5-on-5, the Stars outshot the Golden Knights 11-4. "Go back to training camp in September and we had the conversation with him 'We need you to keep getting better. We need you to play so well that we don't even have that conversation again. Is he a healthy scratch or is he a play in?'" Bowness said. "That conversation never took place once during the regular season. He has earned his ice time, he has earned the respect that we were giving him, he's earned respect from his teammates. He's worked very hard. He's been very consistent. He's been a huge part of our team this year." Oleksiak is a reason why the Stars believe they are more equipped for the postseason this year than they were last season, when they were eliminated in the second round by the Blues in a double-overtime, Game 7 loss. | Trump says nationwide lockdown would 'ultimately inflict more harm than it would prevent' - CNBC Posted: 03 Aug 2020 10:08 PM PDT  President Donald Trump insisted Monday that shutting down the United States in an attempt to curb the coronavirus would cause more harm than good, doubling down on previous comments that he would not call for a nationwide lockdown. "It's important for all Americans to recognize that a permanent lockdown is not a viable path forward producing the result that you want or certainly not a viable path forward and would ultimately inflict more harm than it would prevent," Trump said during a White House briefing on the virus. He said the U.S. only initially shut down to prevent the overflow of hospitals and to allow U.S. health officials and scientists to learn more about the new virus, including developing effective treatments to fight it. He said the U.S. is doing "really well" on developing coronavirus drugs and vaccines. "Lockdowns do not prevent infection in the future. They just don't. It comes back many times, it comes back," Trump said. While Trump said he would not shut down the U.S., he urged Americans to stay "vigilant" against the coronavirus as U.S. officials begin to see new "flare-ups," including in states like Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Missouri. Trump said there are 18 states that have reported low coronavirus cases and positivity rates below 5%, including New Jersey, Connecticut and New York, once seen as the nation's epicenter at the beginning of the outbreak. "In our current phase, we must focus on protecting those at highest risk while allowing younger and healthier Americans to resume work and school with careful precautions. Ideally we want to open those schools. We want to open them," he said. State lawmakers, rather than the federal government, have imposed harsh restrictions on residents and businesses throughout the nation's coronavirus response. But with the U.S. economy straining under the social distancing rules, Trump has loudly called on the country to reopen. Trump has insisted that he wouldn't close the country if a second wave of coronavirus cases emerged. Instead, the U.S. will "put out the fires" as they arise. In recent weeks he's pushed for schools to reopen in the fall regardless the state of the nation's Covid-19 outbreak, saying that keeping schools closed "is causing death also." The World Health Organization has previously warned that countries with rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreaks might have to reinstate lockdowns to curb the virus' spread, even those that were once successful when reopening. White House coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci has suggested some states hit the "reset button" and pause or roll back reopenings if cases climb. Earlier on Monday, Fauci warned the rate of coronavirus tests that have come back positive in some states outside of the southern region of the nation is beginning to increase. It's the same "insidious" rise that the Sun Belt region saw a month or so ago before cases surged, he said. Fauci said states should take a "serious" reexamination of where they are in the process of reopening. "You may need to pause, you may need to drop back a little bit. さて本局25手目。藤井棋聖は▲６八玉を選びました。この進行はまさに「藤井矢倉」の入口です。このまま「藤井矢倉」に進むのか？ 藤井猛九段創案の「藤井矢倉」継承者として、藤井聡太棋聖ほどふさわしい人はいないでしょう。 先日の棋聖戦第２局。藤井猛九段と鈴木大介九段は次のような会話をしています。

The 21-year-old Nigeria international sealed a move to the San Paolo from LOSC Lille last Friday for €50 million, much to the excitement of Napoli fans and supporters in his home country. | The Pixel 4a is the iPhone SE competitor you're looking for - Android Central Posted: 03 Aug 2020 05:08 PM PDT  Google has announced the Pixel 4a today, and now there is nothing left to guess about. We already knew almost everything there was to know about the 4a thanks to leaks and folks willing to share them. Perhaps the best news from today was the price. Coming in just $350 means this is a phone that we should be looking at. The Pixel 4a isn't a "flagship' (for lack of a better word) phone. It's very mid-range like its predecessor the Pixel 3a and its design reflects this. The phone has a plastic body and an overall size that's actually smaller than the Pixel 3a, even with a larger 5.8-inch screen. It's also sporting a Snapdragon 730G processor, which makes it slightly weaker than the OnePlus Nord in terms of performance. As mentioned in our review, though, it's still plenty capable. The things the 4a does come with are what makes it interesting, though. Reviewers received their phones running Android 10 with all the Pixel features that make the brand stand out. On-device Google Assistant for faster results and better privacy is there. The great Pixel call screening features are there to help weed out those telemarketers. Live captions, Personal Safety, Now Playing music ID, and all the rest are there, too. All this, paired with one of the best cameras available at any price, makes the Pixel 4a stand out. How the Pixel software gets better is arguably even more important. We've seen Pixel Drops throughout 2020, and we can expect to see small but significant features keep coming to the Pixel 4a. And when Android 11 is released, you'll see it on the Pixel 4a on day one. The same goes for Android 12, and probably Android 13. I think the best feature of the Pixel 4a is also the best feature of the iPhone SE — guaranteed updates when they are released. Granted, the SE will see more of those updates, but Google says the Pixel 4a will see three full years of software support. That means platform updates like the next version of Android, as well as the more critical security updates we see every month. Until we see the Pixel 5, the 4a is the best deal available when it comes to Android updates and software support.
You are giving up a few things with the Pixel 4a, and we can't pretend you're not. The display runs at 60Hz, and if you've used a phone with a 90Hz or higher display refresh rate, you might not want to go back. The Snapdragon 730G processor will get bogged down by extremely heavy apps once in a while, even if your favorite reviewer doesn't see it happen. And though the Pixel 4a works on almost every network in the world, there is no 5G support right now — that comes later in the year with the Pixel 4a 5G. These things may be a good reason for you not to want the Pixel 4a, and that's cool because there are plenty of other Android phones you can buy. But for most of us, who don't need a 5G network or aren't going to try and play the latest and greatest 3D game on a small screen, the $350 price, great software support, and guaranteed future-proofing make the Pixel 4a the perfect phone. The Pixel 4a is a basic phone with a basement price tag. It's the 2020 iPhone SE for every Android fan.
