The White Bear Lake Police Department is investigating an early-morning shooting Saturday in which one person was injured.
Police were called to a house in the 2300 block of County Road E about 3:45 a.m. following a 911 call from a resident inside the house.
The resident told police that multiple suspects forcibly entered the house, shots were fired and one person inside the house was shot.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital and his injuries don’t appear to be life threatening.
The suspects left before police arrived. No arrests have been made.
“We believe this was not a random incident and do not believe there is a threat to the public,” said WBL Police Capt. Phil Henry.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 651-429-8511.
