Michigan State has lost a pair of players to the transfer portal in defensive lineman DeAri Todd and long snapper Bryce Eimer. Their departures bring MSU’s total to four on the day, and six since Saturday’s spring game.
Todd didn’t see any game action during his MSU career, but did earn Academic All-Big Ten honors three times. Todd was part of the 2017 recruiting class as a three-star prospect.
Like Todd, Eimer never saw game action for the Spartans, as he took a redshirt year in 2020. The move comes as a bit of a surprise, with him being the only listed long snapper on the spring roster.

The Spartans signed long snapper Hank Pepper in the 2021 class, and he could be forced into immediate playing time in the fall. Pepper is rated as the No. 1 long snapper in the country by 247Sports.
Former long snapper Jude Pedrozo left the Spartans in December 2020 and has since found a home in Columbus with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Pedrozo played in 20 games for the Spartans over his first two seasons before leaving the program.
Eimer has seemingly confirmed the news himself as well:
