Texas A&M seniors wide receiver Camron Buckley and safety Derrick Tucker have entered the transfer portal.

Buckley announced his decision to enter the portal as a graduate transfer via Twitter on Wednesday.

“To my family thank you for all your support and love,” Buckley said in his tweet. “I have enjoyed my four years as an Aggie but after careful consideration I have decided to enter the transfer portal as a graduate transfer. I am walking by faith and trusting God.”

Buckley’s announcement follows one from incoming freshman wide receiver Shadrach Banks on Monday.

Buckley missed all of the 2020 season due to a knee injury he sustained during the Aggies’ fall camp. The Cedar Hill product recorded 121 yards on 11 catches in 2019, a step down from his 2018 production — 474 yards on 34 catches.

As a freshman in 2017, Buckley played in all 13 games, accumulating 282 yards on 17 receptions, adding three touchdowns.

Also on Wednesday, 247sports’s Brian Perroni reported senior safety Derrick Tucker has also entered the transfer portal.

A Manvel native, Tucker opted out of the 2020 season last September, citing the Black Lives Matter movement.

Tucker played in the first four games of the 2019 season before redshirting, following up his sophomore season in which he recorded 27 total tackles in 10 games.

Tucker started in seven games as a freshman, recording 55 tackles, an interception, four pass breakups and a forced fumble.
