LSU appears set to lose their starting left tackle.
Dare Rosenthal has reportedly planned to enter the NCAA transfer portal following a violation of school policies that could keep him off the field at LSU in 2021.
The former four-star recruit out of Ferriday in the 2018 signing class developed as an offensive lineman after switching from defense.
Rosenthal at 6-foot-7 and 327 pounds would be a difficult player to replace and place a dent in LSU’s depth on the offensive line. The Tigers were set to return all five starters including Rosenthal.
Next in line to play left tackle for LSU is senior Cameron Wire (6-6, 311).
