Czech authorities have published the latest risk assessment, removing Croatia, Austria and Ireland from the epidemiologically safe list.
Thus, starting on Monday, September 13, arrivals from those countries have to undergo an antigen or PCR test before reaching Czechia and self-isolating for 14 days upon arrival. However, the quarantine time can be reduced if another test is carried out no earlier than on the fifth day of the isolation, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.
Every traveller reaching the Czech authority must fill in an Arrival Form. Fully vaccinated travellers with one of the European Medicines Agency approved vaccines (Moderna, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Janssen) are exempted from these entry requirements.
Furthermore, travellers from the following countries are obliged to undergo the same entry requirements as they are placed on the red and dark red category:
- Bulgaria
- Belgium
- Iceland
- Cyprus
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Lithuania
- Liechtenstein
- Monaco
- Germany
- Estonia
- France
- Greece
- Slovenia
- Switzerland
- Spain and its Balearic Islands
- Portugal
On the other hand, entry requirements will be tightened for Andorra, Denmark, San Marino, Slovakia, Sweden, the Canary Islands and Madeira, as the Czech authorities have placed these countries on the orange list. Arrivals from this category must undergo a PCR or antigen test before reaching the country or no later than the fifth day upon arrival. Other countries on Czechia’s orange list are Italy, Finland and Malta.
