Children and adults who live in Fontana are invited to enter the city’s “Chalk it Up!” sidewalk chalk art contest.
The event offers participants in two age groups a chance to win gift cards and be featured on the Fontana Arts website, according to a news release.
Online registration is open, and submissions are due by Sept. 6. Age categories are youth, age 17 and younger; and adult, age 18 and older.
To enter, register at FontanaCA.PerfectMind.com, create a sidewalk chalk artwork and take a photo of the art. Email photo, artist’s name, title of artwork, phone number and age category to CulArts@fontana.org.
There will be first-, second- and third-place prizes in both age categories and a chance to be featured on the Fontana Arts website. Winners will be announced Sept. 18 at the Hispanic Heritage Celebration.
