Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s (R) request to join a suit for purposes of defending the constitutionality of a state law that restricts the most common type of second-trimester abortion came too late, the Sixth Circuit said.
Intervention rarely is allowed on appeal, and is even more disfavored after an appeal has been decided, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said Wednesday in an unpublished opinion denying Cameron’s motion.
