  China temporarily bans entry of nationals from Belgium, the UK, the Philippines and India.

(CNN) – China has temporarily suspended the entry of all travelers from Belgium, the U.K., the Philippines and India in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Thursday that it is a “temporary measure” based on changes in the pandemic.

Chinese authorities explained this is reasonable and consistent with international practice.
