'Never Gonna Snow Again' (Sniegu już nigdy nie bedzie), a 2020 Polish-German film directed by Malgorzata Szumowska and Michal Englert, has made it to the final of the 2nd edition of the Arab Critics' Awards for European Films.

In its announcement on its Twitter on Friday, the Polish Film Institute (PISF) wrote that the two other which entered the final were 'Aida,' a co-production of eight countries, including Poland, directed by Jasmila Zbanic, and a German film 'Undine' directed by Christian Petzold.

The winner of this year's award will be announced during the Cairo International Film Festival in December.

The Arab Critics' Awards for European Films is a joint initiative launched by the Arab Cinema Center (ACC) and the European Film Promotion (EFP) in 2019. The jury is composed of 54 Arab film critics from 14 countries.

'Never Gonna Snow Again' is Poland's candidate for best international feature film at the American Academy Awards.

The film tells the story of Ukrainian masseur Zhenia (Alec Utgoff), who works as a masseur in Poland and becomes a guru-like figure in a wealthy gated community where his clients live.
