LiAngelo Ball will sign a contract with the G League and enter its Oct. 23 draft, sources told The Athletic on Monday.
After playing for the Hornets in the NBA Summer League, Ball could be a candidate for Charlotte's Greensboro affiliate. Ball averaged 9.6 points in 17.4 minutes per game in five Summer League appearances.
Ball's older brother, Lonzo, has played for the Lakers and Pelicans and was traded this offseason to the Bulls. His younger brother, LaMelo, was drafted No. 3 by the Hornets in 2020 and won 2020-21 NBA Rookie of the Year honors.
