ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Friday is a big day for the region as Governor Tom Wolf's stay-at-home order has been lifted, and the area moves into the yellow phase of his reopening plan.
The Lehigh Valley, Berks County and southeastern region of the state were the last areas to move into this less restrictive phase.
So what is allowed in yellow?
In terms of social gatherings, while the stay-at-home order was lifted, crowds of more than 25 people are still not allowed.
Retail stores can now open, but curbside pick-up and delivery are still being encouraged.
Restaurants are now able to offer outdoor dining, as long as certain guidelines are followed, in addition to continuing curbside pickup and delivery.
The big cities in the area, including Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, are all making changes to help restaurants more easily allow outdoor dining. That includes closing some streets and extending the sidewalks with risers to allow for more tables.
As far as other businesses go, working from home should continue if it's feasible, according to Wolf's plan.
If a business serves people in-person, there are specific guidelines that need to be followed.
Childcare centers are allowed to open, but they also have a set of guidelines that must be followed.
Prisons will still have restrictions in place.
Schools will follow the guidance released from the Department of Education, which said colleges can resume in-person activities Friday, and elementary and secondary schools can start July 1, provided their school boards come up with a safety plan.
Places like gyms, spas, hair salons, nail salons, casinos, and theaters are still closed in the yellow phase.
There are 16 more counties in Pennsylvania entering the green reopening phase Friday, making 34 total in green and 33 now in yellow.
Counties can move to green 14 days after moving to the yellow phase, if there are no significant virus outbreaks and the overall risk stays reduced, the state said.
Full details and guidance on each phase of the plan can be found on Wolf's website.
