The entry list for next month’s virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans has been released, with 30 LMP2 cars and 20 GTE vehicles set to take part in the newly-launched esports enduro.

Several FIA World Endurance Championship teams have been confirmed for the June 13-14 event including Toyota Gazoo Racing, Rebellion Racing and the factory GT operations from Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche.

Two front-running outfits from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Team Penske and Corvette Racing, will also take to the grid.

Penske will enter a single car in the all-Oreca LMP2 class and will race for overall victory against the likes of Toyota, ByKolles Racing, Signatech Alpine and Jota Sport.

The esports team of two-time Le Mans winner Fernando Alonso is also entered, along with decorated GT3 competitor Team WRT and experienced sim racing concern Veloce Esports.

LMP1 privateer Rebellion Racing has secured a tie-up with the Williams esports team to field four entries, which is the largest single-team effort in the top category.

United Autosports, TDS Racing, Cool Racing, Richard Mille Racing, Panis Racing, 2 Seas Motorsport, Team Rocket Zansho, IDEC Sport, Multimatic and Team Redline will also be involved in the LMP2 contest.

The GTE class includes a total of four works Porsche 911 RSRs, three factory Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTEs and Ferrari 488 GTEs, plus two Corvette Racing C7.Rs.

There are also eight entries from privateer squads including WEC GTE-Am regulars Team Project 1, Dempsey-Proton Racing and Gulf Racing.

A total of 85 entry requests were made for the inaugural edition of the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is serving as an alternative to the postponed real-world version.

Ten of the teams that did not receive places on the main grid have been put on a reserve list.

Risi Competizione is the first standby with its GTE-class Ferrari, ahead of the French Fordzilla LMP2 team, Kessel Racing, Team LNT Ginetta and Purple Sector Racing.

The race will be held on rFactor 2 and will be contested between mixed driver lineups of real-world professional racers and esports competition specialists.
